The "Cross-Cultural Management" Intensive Programme is an initiative of the EuroMed Research Business Institute designed to promote the idea of Cross-Cultural Management training between students and academics, of different cultural backgrounds, throughout Europe. Funded by the Hellenic State Scholarships Institution under the ERASMUS LLP of the European Commission, the programme is coordinated by and will be hosted in the facilities of the Dept. of Finance and Insurance and the Dept. of Business Planning and Information Systems of the TEI of Crete in Agios Nikolaos.

This partnership’s power to disseminate the program and its results is tremendous by the mere fact that its aggregate student population exceeds 170,000 and the teaching staff population is in the area of 20,000. Furthermore, the partnership counts a collective network of higher education and other organizational associates exceeding the number of 1,000 institutions worldwide. Dissemination is an ongoing activity throughout the duration of this project involving the following:

  1. Internal calls of interest will be issued by partner institutions calling their students to attend the course, including posting the calls to their websites.

  2. The coordinating institution, TEI of Crete, will take all appropriate actions to promote the programme, its objectives and details as well as its funding body through its web site (http://www.teicrete.gr/), the web site of the department of Finance and Insurance (http://www.finance.teicrete.gr/), and the web site of the department of Business Planning and Information Systems (http://www.bpis.teicrete.gr/), and through the Mass Media.

  3. Upon completion and evaluation of the program, an assessment report will be prepared and distributed electronically to all partner institutions. Partner universities will then take all agreed actions to disseminate the program’s rationale and results both internally and externally to their academic, social and business partners and networks.

  4. All appropriate means will be employed for the successful dissemination of results including links, on partner institutions’ central web sites, to the program’s web site, mailing lists etc.

  5. Dissemination will also involve giving rights to educational, social and business partners to electronically access teaching or other material related to the course give feedback and propose amendments under their own perspective.
